Insensitizing Controls for the 1-D Wave Equation
نویسنده
چکیده
We study the insensitizing controllability property of the 1−d wave equation observed in some open set in two cases, when the control acts in an interior region and when it acts on the boundary. In both cases, when the control time is sufficiently large the -insensitizing controllability holds. Moreover, for the boundary controlled equation the (exact) insensitizing controllability also holds.

A Local Result on Insensitizing Controls for a Semilinear Heat Equation with Nonlinear Boundary Fourier Conditions
In this paper we present a local result on the existence of insensitizing controls for a semilinear heat equation when nonlinear boundary conditions of the form ∂ny + f(y) = 0 are considered. The problem leads to analyze a special type of nonlinear null controllability problem. A sharp study of the linear case and a later application of an appropriate fixed point argument constitutes the scheme...
متن کاملUnique Continuation Principle for Systems of Parabolic Equations
In this paper we prove a unique continuation result for a cascade system of parabolic equations, in which the solution of the first equation is (partially) used as a forcing term for the second equation. As a consequence we prove the existence of ε-insensitizing controls for some parabolic equations when the control region and the observability region do not intersect. Mathematics Subject Class...
متن کاملFinding the Optimal Place of Sensors for a 3-D Damped Wave Equation by using Measure Approach
In this paper, we model and solve the problem of optimal shaping and placing to put sensors for a 3-D wave equation with constant damping in a bounded open connected subset of 3-dimensional space. The place of sensor is modeled by a subdomain of this region of a given measure. By using an approach based on the embedding process, first, the system is formulated in variational form;...
متن کاملA posteriori $ L^2(L^2)$-error estimates with the new version of streamline diffusion method for the wave equation
In this article, we study the new streamline diffusion finite element for treating the linear second order hyperbolic initial-boundary value problem. We prove a posteriori $ L^2(L^2)$ and error estimates for this method under minimal regularity hypothesis. Test problem of an application of the wave equation in the laser is presented to verify the efficiency and accuracy of the method.
متن کاملControllability of systems of Stokes equations with one control force: existence of insensitizing controls
In this paper we establish some exact controllability results for systems of two parabolic equations of the Stokes kind. In a first part, we prove the existence of insensitizing controls for the L norm of the solutions and the curl of solutions of linear Stokes equations. Then, in the limit case where one can expect null controllability to hold for a system of two Stokes equations (namely, when...
